After nearly two decades of hosting unforgettable tournament experiences, we created a cocktail worthy of Magnolia Drive itself. Guests also call it the Magnolia Mule — and we happily oblige.

The Story Behind the Magnolia

Inspired by the white blooms that define Augusta in April, the Magnolia cocktail blends Southern elegance with refreshing mule-style energy. Floral notes from magnolia syrup meet citrus brightness and a ginger finish that keeps guests coming back for another round.

From Blossom to Glass

The secret is our Magnolia syrup: Only available at Club Magnolia, it's a simple syrup infused with fresh magnolia petals, brightened with a squeeze of lemon. It’s subtle, aromatic, and makes the whole drink taste like spring showed up dressed properly. You can substitute simple syrup and ginger syrup to make this exceptional cocktail at home.

Citrus-forward and crisp, layered with floral syrup and peach softness. The mint cools, the ginger sparkles, and the finish is unmistakably spring.

Choose Your Spirit

Tequila and bourbon are favorites, but vodka, gin, or rum each bring their own personality. The Magnolia adapts — the charm remains constant.

Magnolia Cocktail Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz tequila or bourbon (vodka, gin, or rum optional)
  • 1 Tbsp Magnolia syrup (or simple/ginger syrup)
  • 4 oz peach ginger beer (or substitute 1 Tbsp peach purée and 4 oz ginger beer)
  • 1.5 oz fresh lemon juice
  • 5–10 mint leaves, gently pressed
  • Mint sprig & lemon wheel for garnish

Magnolia syrup: simple syrup infused with fresh magnolia petals and brightened with lemon, only available at Club Magnolia.

Instructions

  1. Combine with spirit, pressed mint leaves, purée, syrup, and lemon juice over ice.
  2. Shake or stir gently.
  3. Top with ginger beer.
  4. Garnish with mint sprigs and lemon wheel, serve immediately.
